PIC Advance Certification


Person in Charge training aimed for a person directly responsible for the food related operations in the food establishment and has direct authority, control or supervision over employees who engage in the storage, preparation, display, or service of foods.
At least 1 person should be present in each shift.
PIC Level 3 training course is composed of 12 modules that will thoroughly cover the most critical and essential aspects of this science.

2. Microbiology (Multiplication and survival hazards)
3. Contamination hazards and controls
4. Food poisoning
5. Personal hygiene
6. Food premises and equipment
7. Cleaning and disinfection
8. Pest management
9. HACCP
10. Dubai Rules and Regulations
11. Desktop Inspection
12. Role of PIC – checklists
Examination
Requirement: At least 1 person should be present in each shift.
Target Audience
managers, supervisors, team leaders and persons responsible in managing food in catering services, hotels, restaurant, & food retail industry .

Duration
3 days – (6 hrs per day. 3rd day Exam)
Certification
Those who successfully complete the training and exam will be provided certificate by the Invigilation Authority, approved by Dubai Municipality. Those who pass the exam has the chance to apply for International Certificate as well.
